LactaLogics welcomes Steven White as Head of Manufacturing and Quality

With 23+ years of food science and manufacturing expertise, White will lead operations at LactaLogics’ state-of-the-art facility, paving the way for its 2025 launch.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida—LactaLogics is proud to announce the appointment of Steven White as Head of Manufacturing and Quality. With over 23 years of experience in food manufacturing, Steven brings a proven track record of leading complex operational challenges, implementing quality systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

In this critical role, White will oversee the aseptic process installation and production ramp-up of LactaLogics’ 70,000-square-foot human milk processing facility, which recently reached its 50% completion milestone. This state-of-the-art facility, scheduled for launch in late 2025, is designed to meet the highest food safety standards, aligning with LactaLogics’ mission to provide life-changing nutrition to premature and at-risk infants.

White’s key responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing project management: Leading the installation of advanced systems, including Tetra Pak and high-capacity refrigeration, while ensuring projects remain on schedule and compliant
  • Quality systems and compliance: Implementing quality assurance systems to meet Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) standards, critical for producing human milk-based products
  • Validation and regulatory oversight: Ensuring the facility meets rigorous safety regulations and supporting the launch of operations with an emphasis on quality and compliance

Steven White holds an MBA from Ashland University and an MS in Food Science from Utah State University, emphasizing Dairy Microbiology, Fermentations, and Chemistry. He also brings certifications including Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). Over his 23-year career, he has led manufacturing and quality projects for major dairy and beverage brands, honing his expertise in aseptic processing, food safety compliance, and operational efficiency. His experience managing complex systems like UHT pasteurizers, separators, and fluid filling systems equips him to oversee the delicate handling and processing of donor human milk, ensuring safety and quality for vulnerable populations.
