LactaLogics welcomes Dr. William Rhine to its Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board

A recognized leader in neonatology, Dr. Rhine brings broad clinical expertise, academic insight, and a genuine passion for giving premature babies the best chance at life.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida—LactaLogics, a company focused on human milk-based nutrition for premature infants, announced that William Rhine, M.D. joins other distinguished clinicians and researchers on its Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board.

Appointing Dr. Rhine reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to make safe and affordable nutrition available to all babies.

“We’re honored to welcome Dr. Rhine to our Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board. He shares our belief in focusing on the outcomes of premature infants, not products,” said Glenn Snow, CEO and co-founder of LactaLogics. “An early adopter for breast milk in the NICU, Dr. Rhine’s heart for babies is seen in everything he does.”

“To get the best chance at life and optimal health, babies need to start with the best nutrition, the foundation of which is breast milk,” shared Dr. Rhine. “LactaLogics is applying new technologies to the human milk industry that can increase the availability and access of this precious resource for those who can benefit from it the most.”

Consulting with dozens of hospitals throughout the United States and Asia, Dr. Rhine is recognized as an expert in neonatal nutrition, neurological injury, respiratory failure, and quality improvement for NICUs. He has been the author/co-author of more than 50 publications and has co-chaired several international conferences on human milk science.

Dr. Rhine has more than 30 years of clinical research and medical practice experience with premature infants. He is currently a neonatologist at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and serves as Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
