Transitioning home

We’re imaging a future where babies will be able to be discharged from the hospital on human milk.

A full episode of care solution, from premature birth to 44-weeks

Babies thrive best on breast milk. It’s why we’re not only rethinking how human milk is utilized in the NICU, but how we can continue the same standard of care after discharge.
We’re creating a brand-new category of care designed to keep infants on a human milk-based diet from birth, throughout their entire stay in the NICU, and as they are discharged.

Healthy growth beyond the NICU

How can LactaLogics 100% human milk-based products help infants as they transition home from the hospital?

Expansion of feeding policies

Our Gentle-UHT aseptic processing will allow hospitals access to a safe and abundant supply of human milk.

Restrictive feeding policies can then be extended to all infants, including premature babies who are ready to transition home from the NICU or healthy full-term babies who need supplementation.

Outpatient prescription access to shelf-stable, fortified milk

Our ready-to-feed human milk and human milk fortifier pouches will be available to parents through their local specialty pharmacy.
With no freezing, refrigeration, or thawing required, feedings will be able to be supplemented with safe human milk until mother’s own milk is available.

More affordable human milk

Our human milk-based products will be significantly more affordable for hospitals than the leading provider, allowing infants to stay on human milk.

How is this possible? Our technology will enable us to have a highly-efficient manufacturing process, our proprietary serving pouches and cartons will reduce milk waste, and by taking care of our donors, we can enable more moms to donate excess milk.

Easier to feed

Our ready-to-serve human milk and human milk fortifier will be convenient, flexible, and easy to use—adjusting to the medical needs of each infant.
Our take-and-toss pouch can directly fill feeding syringes, connect to an ENFit feeding tube or Supplemental Nursing System (SNS), or feed directly from our ready-to-feed pouch.
